Community Living Dufferin offers a variety of residential support options based on the individual needs of the person.

CLD owns and operates 15 homes that provide accommodations to over 60 adults with intellectual disabilities.
Our 15th home is currently undergoing renovation and retro fitting and is scheduled to open in spring 2023. We assist adults to achieve their personal goals while fostering inclusion in our community.
This home supports adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome.
Their unique needs are addressed through a specialized environment, intervention strategies and individual programs. Staff receive specialized training to address the particular needs relating to this population.
One option for adults with intellectual disabilities is to live in a supportive family setting.
CLD facilitates this program by identifying suitable families and aligning them with adults in need of this type of accommodation.
Respite care is a family support service that provides temporary relief from the emotional demands involved in caring for their adult family member.
Respite provides adults opportunities to engage in community activities while allowing caregivers time for themselves. Overnight weekend respite is available in one of our group homes as well as Saturday program (some restrictions apply) offered during the daytime in the Options area.
Many adults with intellectual disabilities can live in their own homes or apartments when provided with three to five hours of weekly support.
CLD assists adults to make informed choices regarding their goals, relationships, health, rights, community inclusion, safety and security.
Gifts from donors like you provide opportunities for people we support to actively participate in their community.
We would like to respectfully acknowledge that Dufferin County resides within the traditional territory and ancestral lands of the Tionontati (Petun), Attawandaron (Neutral),
