Learning Through Song
Experience a unique and creative approach to learning through sound, rhythm and melody. In these sessions, participants explore instruments, sing songs, and engage in activities designed to strengthen and grow healthy minds, bodies and connections with both self and others. No musical experience is needed - just come as you are and enjoy exploring and learning in a safe, supportive, musical environment.
Men’s Online Bowling Group
Participants will enjoy virtual bowling using Wii and Xbox systems. This social program is designed for men to connect, relax, and enjoy some friendly competition in a supportive environment.
A drink and chips will be provided, making it a great time to unwind, socialize, and have fun with peers. No experience is needed— just bring your enthusiasm and get ready to bowl!
Pizza & Bingo
Back by popular demand: If you’re a fan of bingo, prizes and pizza, join us for this fun, social activity. Food includes 2 slices of pizza and a can of pop or water. If you have any dietary needs, please indicate on your registration form.
Create Your Own Tumbler
Get ready to design and personalize your very own tumbler in this fun, hands-on workshop! Participants will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity using a variety of materials, colours, and techniques to create a tumbler that’s uniquely theirs. Choose to feature your initials alongside a beautiful spring flower, making a custom drink ware piece that’s both functional and stylish.
Ladies Night: Lip Gloss Making with Charms
Join us for a fun and easy Lip Gloss Making with Charms program! Participants will make their own lip gloss and decorate the containers with colourful charms. Everyone will get to choose their favourite colours and designs to create something special to take home.
Galaxy Movie: Mario
Join us for a fun Mario Movie Night at Orangeville Cinema! Participants will enjoy watching The Super Mario Bros. Movie on the big screen in a relaxed and supportive group setting. Price includes movie ticket and small combo with popcorn, snack and drink.
Ladies Night: Floral Pots
Join us for a fun and creative Spring Flower Pot Décor program! Participants will decorate flower pots using napkins and Mod Podge to create beautiful spring designs. After decorating, we will use clay to make a handmade flower frog to help hold and arrange flowers in the pot. This hands-on activity encourages creativity, relaxation, and self-expression while making a lovely seasonal decoration to take home.
Skills to Shine: Certificate Program
We are thrilled to bring back Community Living Dufferin’s certificate program! This 6 week program will run once a week, where you will have a chance to build valuable life skills across a range of topics. Each session will be both engaging and informative, led by staff from Community Living Dufferin as well as professionals from the community. At the end of the program, you will receive a “Skills to Shine” certificate as recognition for your achievement.
Tote Bags
Join us for a creative Tote Bag Design program! Participants will choose their own design using iron-on transfer sheets and learn how to safely iron them onto their tote bags. Everyone will have the option to add extra personal touches using fabric markers.
This hands-on activity encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence while creating a useful item to take home.
CLD Spring Garden Club
Engage in simple hands-on planting activities that teach basic plant growth, water use and nature concepts. Take-home creations include terrariums, seed bombs, bean sprouts and mini flower pots over the course of this four-week Spring program led by Erin Gilbart. Erin’s practice focuses on creating accessible, restorative nature experiences that support emotional well‑being, resilience, connection and fun.
