As you know, Sheryl Chandler is retiring at the end of May and we wish her all the best for a long and healthy retirement.
The Community Living Dufferin Board of Directors took on the task of recruiting her replacement and we are thrilled to an-nounce that Robert Bingham has accepted our offer of employ-ment as the new Executive Director of CLD.
For the past eight years Robert has been the Director of Services at Central West Specialized Developmental Services (CWSDS).
Roberts’s entire career has been in the developmental services sector. He has held front line, supervisory and senior leadership roles in community agen-cies in Oakville, Toronto and Peel.
Robert also worked for 10 years with the Ministry of Community and Social Services, as a Program Supervisor in Hamilton as a Project Manager for the “Facilities Initiative” which saw the closure of the final three directly operated government residential institutions and finally as the Project Manager for the Developmental Services Ontario Implementation Team.
Robert is a passionate advocate for inclusion and equality for people who have a develop-mentally disability. He has spent his career working to improve the quality of life for the people he has had the pleasure of working with.

We hope that you will welcome Robert when he starts at CLD on May 28, 2018.
