Ways to Donate

Wish Fund

With a donation to the WISH FUND you can help to provide funding to purchase and/or replace major appliances (stoves, fridges, dishwashers, washers and dryers), assist with yearly maintenance and upkeep of our 15 homes, any of which exceeds budget.

Specialized Programs

A donation to this fund will provide additional funds to assist people in service to achieve their personal outcomes.

This supplemental funding enables people to participate in programs which might otherwise have exceeded their financial budgets. i.e. Horsemanship, summer camp, swimming, Creative Partners on Stage drama program.

Transportation Fund

Funding to purchase wheelchair accessible and mini vans is not provided by the Ministry of Community and Social Services. We must therefore fund raise the revenue needed to ensure not only the availability of transportation for people supported, but also the safe upkeep and maintenance of the vehicles we have. Please donate here to assist in this years campaign to purchase a ProMaster Wheelchair Accessible van.

Creative Partners on Stage

Since 2008, Community Living Dufferin in partnership with Theatre Orangeville has been offering the Creative Partners on Stage program. This program provides educational and performance opportunities for adults who have a developmental disability.

Throughout the year the actors rehearse with both CLD and TOV staff present at each rehearsal. Staff and volunteers ensure that the actors are engaged in their learning. At the moment there are two groups, two plays. One is a musical and the other a drama. The final production(s) usually take place in the months of March and May/June at Theatre Orangeville’s main stage, in downtown Orangeville.

Give a Christmas Campaign

Provide a little extra help to assist individuals and families supported in our SIL (Supported Independent Living) program.

Community Living Dufferin supports individuals to live independently (SIL program).

Like everyone at Christmas, basic incomes are stretched during the holidays. For an individual who receives a monthly $1,000.00 Ontario Disability Support Program cheque after paying rent, they are left with very little to cover utilities, food, clothing, & personal products. Most must rely on the food bank to ensure nutrition is met.

During the holidays we endeavor to assist people to budget for the additional expenses that Christmas brings.

Our  Give a Christmas campaign brings joy to people whose need at Christmas is the greatest.

Please consider assisting us in this campaign by donating gift cards for local grocery stores, cards from local retail stores can provide warm clothing, personal hygiene and perhaps a couple of little extras not normally affordable.

Your donation will assist people to enjoy a brighter Christmas.

Donations can be made securely via ZEFFY donation platform, or by

e-transfer to payment@cldufferin.ca, or print off the donation form and mail it to CLD
